God among the ruins
24 February 2022 has become the day that changed the world in many ways. Full-fledged Russian invasion into Ukraine put hundreds of thousands into suffering and drove over ten million of Ukrainian citizens from their places. The war has touched in some way almost all countries. Aggression, pain, coward silence and passivity, solidarity and complicity – all this is just a portion of reactions the war made visible. All this requires not only psychological, political but also theological analysis.
From the first days of this new phase of war the editorial board of Bogomyslie began working on a special issue focussed on the subject of war in Ukraine. Its motto "God among the ruins". This issue was published in May 2022. This is an English version of that issue.

Bogomyslie (Meditating on God) is a theological journal that seeks to describe and develop the theological thought of the Eastern European evangelical tradition.
The mission of the journal is to function as a bridge between the Academy and the Church in order to contribute to the formation of a national written theological tradition as well as a theological approach and a biblical position in the everyday life of God's people. The journal offers an open platform for discussion on relevant theological issues and concerns within the national evangelical community.
The Journal is aimed at a broad readership interested in a deeper, more holistic and balanced study of the Scriptures, theology in general and practical theology in particular, the history of Christianity, and the acts of God in the Church, in society, and in the spiritual life of people of faith.
